If you click the "More..." link you will see the entire post, which is a blog "EnRoute Adventures" written by award-winning signmaker Dan Sawatzky.

Dan goes into detail about his sign and environmental projects and provides insights to the creative design side as well as the how to use EnRoute CAD/CAM software in your production process.

We wanted to share Dan's work with a broader audience here at CNC zone by streaming a feed from the blog to this forum. I agree the formatting here on CNCzone leave a lot to be desired.

If you haven't been to the EnRoute web site recently, I would encourage you to visit. We've added a lot of movie clips about how to use EnRoute. We also have recordings of the monthly training sessions that we host online "Webinars". These are hour long sessions to help you build your EnRoute skills.

The cost for EnRoute Software ranges from $2K to $7K depending on what capabilities you need. The company offers a software leasing program that can get you a full blown feature package for around $200/month.

cool thats not too bad if the software is any good...have you used Mcam, gibbscam or surfcam for a comparison on intuitive or ease of use?

Sorry, no direct experience with those programs. Would suggest you view some movies of EnRoute as a comparison.

What types of projects are you doing? What type of CNC machine do you have?

I use Gibbscam and Solidworks currently but have used Mastercam and Surfcam and Autocam.

I have Haas machinery and some homemade stuff with mach3. And I'm a job shop again so I work on whatever comes my way. Everything from rocket parts, Disneyland ride parts, to aerospace stuff. And I'm always looking for more!!!
