Its very difficult for anyone to help without any details, such as motors, bob, drives, power supply, etc
sorry, what was i thinking. I bought the fet/3 dynamo kit from stepperworld which comes with their own power supply, their main board and 3 nema 23 motors. Here is the link to where i got it all. http://stepperworld.com/FET3dynamo.htm. Their setup software for testing the system worked fine. Once i tried to jog a little in mach 3 the motors seemed to slightly move and sounds really choppy.

Did you ever find your answers?
Maybe the axes limits were set up in reverse? The Z axis in my router tested fine but would not move in the program by more than 0.01 mm. As it turned out I gave the the possible movement from 100 to -1 mm where it should have been -1 to 100mm (ore the other way around)

I went up to the place he bought his equipment and it looks like his drives are phase drive and not step and direction. If thats the case they probably wont work with mach3 or any other control program that can't use phase drive.
Hi Mac Morvant here I was asked if I solved my problem with no motor movement , and what software to use , the motor problem was the parelle port cable (wrong one)! Software problem solved also ! I 'am useing CAMBAM & MACH-3, they work pretty good together with the FET 3 board ! I still have a lot to learn ! Trying to learn more about CAD & CAM router carving & some metal cutting !! Now to more head scretching & (What is this) !!!!!!
