    Rhino CAM??

Has anyone seen this plug-in for Rhino 3.0? Here is the website http://www.rhinocam.com

It sells for $999 I don't know how that compares to other CAM software prices in the same caliber as it.

Just wanting to know if anyone as looked at it or even purchased it.
    Thanks

I downloaded the demo (I think it was this one). Got it installed, but never really had the chance to play with it.

Took a look at their web site, and I guess I was wrong. This isn't the one I tried.

I believe it's Visual Mill basic, running inside Rhino.

Ger it si Visual and you can find it at MecSoft or Rhino. I have been talking a fellow who does some beta testing for VM and he told me that a full version of VM 5 inside Rhino is in the near future.

Hi. I recently picked up RhinoCAM. It's VisualMill Basic running as a Rhino 3.0 plugin. I got both Rhino and RhinoCAM for $1K. One cool thing is that you can use the standalone version of VM Basic 5.0 since they share the same key. I switch to that mode since RhinoCAM can't read/write VMP files yet (though it's scheduled to have that feature by end of April). Otherwise they are identical programs and a great deal, if I may say.

    JRoque,

Have you produced any code with the it? You got both programs for $1000? That does sound like a great deal! Is this deal offered anywhere?
    Thanks

It was an introductory offer that I believe has ended.

Yes I have cut several pieces with it and it's sure nice to have that much control over the path. I paid $1,029 for both Rhino3D and RhinoCAM (or VisualMill Basic 5.0, if you will). They charged me $30 for shipping a 2 pound box from CA to FL but I still think it was a good deal. The offer ended Jan 30th but if you're interested, contact Anita at Mecsoft ([email protected]) and see if she can help you.
