    Self cleaning Filter

With the possibility of running my (future) 3-axis wood router in my spare room in my house, I was considering an enclosure/filtering system. Has anyone else designed and/or completed one of these? If I can figure out how to insert an image, I'll try to show you a quick idea I had that should be fairly maintenance free. Your thoughts?

If you're running it in the house, you'll want it completely enclosed. Especially if you cut any MDF with it.

To insert an image, click the "manage attachments" button. Browse to the file, and click the upload button. Once the uploading is complete, you can send the message.

Hmm, that is pretty neat idea. Although, even with cheap TP, that'll get expensive.

The other problem I can see is that TP breaks pretty easily.

Now, if you do make your machine fully-enclosed - there really wouldn't be a need for the elaborate set-up. Just a Shop-Vac to clear the dust out, and an intake (Dryer Vent?) to bring fresh air in.

Ger, I cannot seem to upload an image using this method.
System says it is "uploading" but image isn't in the message after a "send."
    Your suggestions????
    Thanks WT

A totally enclosed machine is the way to go, greatly reduces noise too.
Here are a couple of pictures of my soon to be retired machine. It will be replaced by a much updated version in the next couple of weeks.
Here is the build thread, there is a video in there too on the second last page. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showth...design+process

When uploading, give it a minute to complete the upload before closing the "manage attachments" window.

Thanks for the hint, I'll try that again.
Nice machine! I wish you well on the updated version.
