    spindle shuts off... runs for about 3 seconds then nothing

    Definitely an electrical issue... not mechanical.

    Just started doing this... turnkey system from IHCNC... only about 40 hours total on machine.

    Checked all connections... found some semi loose ones... but that wasn't problem.

    Any suggestions? Has N2 series Tverter VFD... can't find any troubleshooting tips... LU-C comes up on screen of VFD... well it used to. Now LED is just blank when it stops. Have to switch off power... then intermittently it will start again... but only for a few seconds.

    Had the same issue with the Tverter on my mill a few years ago, Tommy sent me a new one and been running fine since. The VFD would still work manually so wasn't dead in the water while I was waiting for the replacement.

    Yea, Charter Oak helped me put the TVerter into manual to verify it was the problem... it did it in manual too... put it back into automated mode and unfortunately it's worked since.

    I'm 99% sure it's then VFD... but it has ben working fine now. I guess I'll buy a new one and have it aroun d for when this happens again
