Which Skate Bearing Design Is Better?

I am trying to decide between using the JGRO type of slide using the angle aluminum and running on pipe and the CNCRouterParts type using their carriage design and the cold rolled steel flat.

Does anyone have any input on this?

    Thanks,
    Darrell

If the pipe design is supported, then I would say they may both be equal. The flat bar design is easy to implement and it pretty solid. I used something similar in my router.
It's nearly as strong as a mill. Stronger than some smaller ones.
