    Corel Draw 12

I scanned the forum for Corel & didn't find a specific listing for it.

If I'm in the incorrect forum Please accept my apology & move this post to the correct place.

I am a complete newby to the use of Corel Draw. I have always used AutoCAD, Sheetcam to generate the mechanical drawings of the shapes my business uses.

Is there someone that can help get me turned in the right direction to be able to create graphics & lettering with corel & get the files to Sheetcam for use???
    If it works.....Don't fix it!

    Arrow DXF Text Creation

For DXF text you might want to consider DeskEngrave at

    http://WWW.DesKam.com

It's not Corel, but easy to use & a free download.

    millman52,

You might also want to consider Inkscape, I have a plugin/extension that will "Save As..." a dxf file, also a link on my site for another dxf option that will work with Inkscape.

Inkscape is a FREE open source program, that is VERY good.

Also have a look at this thread here on cnczone, everyone shares files, it's one of the largest threads here on cnczone, you might want to start on the last pages, for the newest info/post.

Have a look at the DXFTool

Hi please try the DXFTool from Candcnc.com - it is an advanced DXF export for CorelDRAW 12 and up.

Caveat: I wrote the DXFTool, but Tom Caudle sells it.

I use the dxf tool mentioned above with corel draw 12 and sheetcam for plasma work. I think the software tool is about 50 or 60 bucks. Well worth it in my opinion. I think it has a 30 day demo that you can download and try. You can pm me if you have other questions.
