Can a multi axis servo board control steppers

as the title says. If wired with stepper drivers, can a servo or motion controller be used to control stepper motors? +5v, Ground, Data connections on the board.

Too vague as to what you mean by controller?
P.P. step/dir controllers can control either, but the drives or amplifiers are stepper or servo specific.
Motion control cards such as Galil use analogue for servo's and step/dir for steppers.
