    alarm 105 (z servo error toll large) on Haas VF-OE

    My Haas VF-OE have a problem. I can't zero return all axis. Alarm 105 (Z servo error too large) appear when home Z axis. Now, spindle is very near table. Pls help!

    Alarm 105

    Check the pressure on the hydraulic conterbalance for the spindle. It should be about 750 psi. If it's much lower than that, the Z servo won't be able to lift the head.

    Meanwhile, wedge a solid block of wood under the spindle so it doesn't contact the table.

    Did this happen when you tried to zero return the axies?

    I think you should check the microswitch that detects the Z home position. If this microswitch sticks the Z axis will go all the way to the end of its travel and alarm when it hits the stop on the end of the ballscrew.

    The counterbalance pressure will not change this and the spindle itself cannot travel far enough to touch the table.
