this is great! i can't help but wonder, would it still work the same if it was smaller? i mean, made for a smaller machine?

I have used the same cable on a 15x29 machine. I am in the process of creating a version of the KRMx01 that will be 13x24.
Will use the same cable. The reason for this sizes it that all the connectors and plugs will fit through the links.
But, I see no reason it wont work at half the size.
