Hi guys,
I need help to set-up both-direction pitch error compensation on a grinding machine.
Controller is Fanuc series 31i model B.
The grinding machine is with linear scale(encoder) from HEIDENHAIN.
I will measure with laser XL-80 for Renishaw.
accuracy needs to be +-2.5 microns, this is a new machine, now the precision is 6~12 microns. I want to improve the precision.
Now on machine is

a02b-0327-r334
Parameter 3605#0 set 1 for both-direction pitch error.
Parametr 3602#0 which one is better to use?
*0 an incremental value
*1 Total value
Table dimension :
X=-1200mm
Y=-1000mm
How to setup parameters:

Or is other parameters to set-up?

Parameter 1851 if I use both-direction pitch error compensation is on or off?
How to setup straightness for each axis? Parameters : 5711,5712,5713,5714,5715,5721,5722,5723,5724,5725, 13381,13382,13383,13384,13385,13391,13392,13393,13 394,13395.

Or is better to use one direction pitch compenastion?
