    Haas VF2 ALARM 127 &115

    I'm Having tool changer problems. I getting alarm 115 & 127 on our VF2.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Those alarms indicate a problem with the turret "rotate" motor...

    Could be the motor is shot..or maybe just a bad conection..or several other things..brushes..ETC.

    I would start by checking the moldex connector to the turret rotate motor..remove the side cover on the arm that comes from the machine column and holds the tool changer.. and also the front cover on the tool changer..check all the connectors there too..

    It might also be that the bearing/s that the tool changer umbrella rotates on has gone south..which is over loading the motor..

    Could also be the relay on the I/O board that fires the rotate motor..it is an Omron Ice cube relay..

    It was a bad motor.
