hi,
where can buy tool setter for z-axis?
thanks
deskcnc has one, thats all I can think of, you could buy a light up touchprobe from msc or somewhere else and wire it to the computer instead. Or you can try to make one which I tried once, plan to again in the future.

What style are you looking for? Are you looking for just a mobile type for operators at the machine? Are you looking to install one on a machine? Are you looking for an external pre-setter? Optical, laser, touch or mechanical? For what machine (CNC mill, manual mill, lathes, ... )?
Theres a ton of them for different reasons, mounting and from several manufacturers.
It's just a part..... cutter still goes round and round....

Nisshin has to be bought direct I believe. You can also check these from Lyndex (they have 4 different models), SPI, ( or this one ) , etc.
I've even just used something simple like a 1-2-3 block. Just as long as you standardize, it works fine.
HTH

There is an affordable mechanical unit also but could not find it.
Personally I like dials
Here it the mechanical,
Bulkier then the one I use and not the precision but is also $250 less money and should be fine within +/- .001 or so, which ain't shabby tolerances.
Unlike th electronic versions mechanical works on all material, not just conductive.
