Looking to get sharp corners in lettering using a vtool in bobcad v25
When using for example a courier font all inside corners take on the
radius of the bit.
Can this be done and how do you proceed?

Do you have BobArt? You'll need the Vcarving toolpath for sharp corners. After that, it's easy. I'll make a video.

The time has come the woodworker said to speak of many things. 0f routers and Wood , chips and paints and stains and CNC and other things.
Here's a quick one on Vcarving text.
I actually made some progress on the boat last night... For raised lettering, I'd draw some geometry, (say, a rectangle), just outside the text, then Vcarve with that geometry selected. The letters would get cut as raised embossments, and the bottom would get pocketed flat in the Vcarve. Then you could use a pocket with an inner Boundary to mill out rest of the stock to the new base surface..
