    Vacuum Panel lifter

    I got tired of shuffling sheet goods on to my CNC router, by hand. So I built a panel lifter. Build log is here How to make a vacuum powered plywood lifter for your workshop

    Nice job. Add another project to my list.

    How long does the vacuum pump take to draw sufficient vacuum to lift? I was thinking of maybe adding an accumulator, but it may not be necessary.

    It takes less than 5 seconds for the pucks to stick to birch plywood. I have not tried materials like MDF.
