    Need help sending files

Looking for help sending files. I recently have tried sending files to my Haas VF2, using a new 64 bit computer, with windows 7. Gibbscam 2004+, and 2010. Through a USB/Serial adapter. Though I have used this configuration several times in the past, with windows XP, I am having no luck with windows 7. Communication seems fine, through the RS cable. The machine errors out. Errors 405, and 411. incorrect Onnnn block, or missing program between the start %, and end %. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like you aren't using ethernet...so if you are simply loading programs, why not just stick them on a USB stick or go through the RS232? That is SO simple and you already have it working.

    The manual states this:

Note: External USB hard drives only work when they are formatted
as FAT or FAT32. NTFS formatted devices will not work. To find
out what your devices is formatted as; connect it to your PC,
right click on the drive in Windows Explorer and select Properties.

I'm not sure if it applies to external computers but I might tend to assume it does. I don't believe I can load via usb/computer on my 2006 but if your machine is newer look at page 51 of the manual for the instructions.
