Live center with sub spindle machine LU15-MW

    Hi
I am looking for ideas on how to use our sub spindle as a live center on our Okuma LU15-MW with OSP7000L controller.

I am thinking of a piece of bar in the sub machined to 60 deg. then bringing the W-axis up near the job and this is where i run into trouble???

I have heard about a load monitoring G-code for this but i am not sure on the process.

Does anybody use this or is it done another way?

    Thanks

Use the M151 command to sync rotation and then use the G22 code to feed the W axis in and push until it reaches a certain load.
