    TLFON, TLFOFF

For count number, don't forget TLCO Q####
The Q number will be number of parts per time the tool is called.
For example, for 6 parts on a pallet, you'll command TLCO Q6

From memory you'll need to set the count the same as a lathe, but the count works backwards from one another. A lathe starts at 0 and goes up, a mill starts, for a set value of 333, at 333, and counts down by Q each cycle.
You'll set the time in the tool data page for each tool.
You get "count", "count (spare)", "time" and "time(spare)" if I remember. You'll want count/spare or time spare and to set a tool number of some kind to be in the same group.
If you add a matrix mag to the list it's a bit cumbersome but pretty doable. It will put expired tools in the NG stations by the matrix door for ease of access.

Lots of ways it can function when time expires.

Special Functions Manual 1, "Tool Life Management Function".
I always forget how to format things. Good thing I've got a quick reference guide for what book to look in.

nice one tea hole ... i was wondering when someone will give an answer

so far i never used auto-tool-change, because the new tool may require corections

i think, if machine changes tools automatically, than is better to measure and correct also automatically
