Are mice cables OK for limit switches?

I have 4 separate axis controllers from Probotix
    http://www.probotix.com/stepper_motor_drivers/SideStep/
I suppose the limit switches don't carry a lot of current, they only carry a signal. Am I correct? Please advice.
I intend to use recovered cables from computer mice as they are very flexible.
Does anybody have a schematic on how to connect the limit switches on the breakout
    http://www.probotix.com/breakout_boa...eakout_board/?

Seems to me that LEN from Probotix is on vacation as he didn't answer my e-mails.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Lucian,

You are correct that the limit switches don't carry a lot of current and mouse cables are pretty flexible. I thought about using some but when I looked at how small the wires were I decided the risk of breakage was to high for my liking. Think about how you will connect them to the breakout board.

just make sure to stress relieve. No portion of the cable, or movement should be taken at the connections.
