    Hardinge DSM-A need advice

I found a Hardinge DSM-A lathe for sale.
What kind of lathe is the DSM-A and is it a good lathe for retrofit??
Does it have servos or steppers, I could not see too much when I was looking at it because it was in an odd place in between other machines.
    And second what's worth a Hardinge DSM-A??
The condition it's not that good and I know it was sitting outside for few months.
    Thanks for any replies.

    DSM-A is NOT CNC

Hardinge DSM-A is not a CNC machine but rather an "Automatic" These machines were upgrades for the Hardinge ASM or "Automatic Screw Machine" the DSM-A was improved with dwelling of all feeds which are hydraulic. These machines can be retro fitted to CNC gang style see Omni turn web site.
