    Mazak Hyperquadrex Tool Naming

We are trying to set up a standard way of naming our tools & tool models on our Hyperquadrex. We want to make it easy and make sense. We anticipate changing tools, shanks, insert sizes, etc. often due to us being a mid-high volume job shop. Any suggestions?

Attached is an old system for mills I used back in the day. Come up with a system like this for your shop. You can use A-Z tool ID codes for each tool type. That way anyone can figure out what tool is used in any program.

Thanks, Mr. Mazak. Your Tool ID code sheet was helpful.
