Steve,
Thank you very much for the valuable information within. Cannot believe not one post showing appreciation for your effort and sharing your knowledge.
I'm sure I speak for thousands of mcam users out there when I say, THANKS!
TC
Thanks TC! I'm glad you liked them. Keep an eye out, we may have some more up soon.

Another "Thank You" from an MC user. I watched the lathe video and learned a few things. It is possible that I may come to like MCX yet. That 'Flip' will see use. If it is in v9, then I have been doing it wrong for years!
G-code I do think the flip is in the latest versions of 9 not sure if it works quite the same.

I couldn't find a "flip" in v9. Mine is v9.0SP1 which I prefer to the latest version because of the "verify" option. We don't have our live tool posts yet, so I am always working in 2D. I don't feel I should have to pick Isometric View before selecting "Verify". How often would one want to see a view besides an isometric in "Verify"? Bet it isn't often in lathe. The option is okay, but I feel there should be a way to set a default view.
I get around not yet having a live tooling post for our lathes by using MasterCam mill and making global edits, then the old cut-and-paste routine.
Nothing wrong with the cut and paste. and you are right verify is about the only time I use Iso View with lathe.
