Hello
can a laser machine do leather embossing?
If it can, what power it will need and what about the effect?
i WANT to know whether the color of the leather will change?
THank you!

Yes it will change colour, and I would say embossing is not the result you would get in my limited experience with leather.
artworldcn,
From the small portion I tried I would say it works extremely well.
The downside is the bad smell that still hangs about despite the extractor system. Never again unless I can find some perfumed stuff.
Tweakie.
CNC is only limited by our imagination.
Guess I always thought embossing was 3D stamping, I stand corrected.
I've seen good results in leather cutting from laser systems, but for embossing, I'd suggest using a CNC mill to create a metal plate. It would certainly be a lot quicker to produce stamped leather parts with that, and I think the results would be much better too.

the laser machine is not the best choice, it was hard to control the effect on the leather, there is the machine named high frequency machine can fit this work well. I think.
