hi all ive got a problem ive finaly after anoying al the man and others in the electrical section tackiling to wire me steppers up etc i have

all from motion control

psu ps407 x2
driver msd542 x3
motors fl86sth156-4208a-h x3

and the only break out board they list on there site.

ive got it all wired up and ive paired the wires on me motor as per pdf file for my driver board

but when i go into mach3 and tune motors i press aroow keys as described and all i hear is a hum and what looks like the motors trying to move but they dont?

ive allso found another pdf with my motor model listed and its a completely diff setup it tells me to pair diff wires together which i have done and that does nothing atall not even tryes to move.

please advise as im sat in the house on my own for once and today is the only day for ages i can actualy get it done.

im finding so many contradictions on what wires to pair for my motors im so baffled.

what value did you put on "step per", "velocity", "Accelaration" on motor tuning ?

I'm having the same trouble with my motors, they are from Motioncontrolproducts also.

They started working fine but now won't move at all, they just vibrate without turning.

I would check your motors first, as I got a different wiring setup on here than I did from Motioncontrol, the one from Motioncontrol worked but not for long.
