    Baldor DC Servo Control

Does anybody have any idea what connects to the red wires on this power supply?.
I'm pretty sure that is a wire wound resistor that mounts to the aluminum panel at the 2 loose screws.
I purchased it with the part missing. It will work if I jumper the leads but I don't think it will last long without a resistor.

    Thanks for any help.

It would help if you gave an idea where they originate from?
Two wire ends do not mean anything!.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I was pretty light on the info.

The orange wire comes from bridge rectifier/to switch/to top terminal strip then becomes red
The other red wire which also goes to top terminal strip is patched at the switch and goes to the large capacitor.

I think the switch adds this missing rectifier which must be switchable.

Thanks Mine is the second thumbnail The LD model 115 vdc
From the way it reads to me is that the supply stays low until high is needed which would make sense when switch is close it bypasses the second resistor making power high. I think that the sensing current is going to be the thought part figuring out how many ohm resistor for low side.
Maybe I'll just through some thing at it a see what happens.

    Thanks again.
