    Promica X3 - What Now?

    So, over the last few months I have been building my Promica X3 kit. I have fitted the basic kit including steppers and optical home switches, installed a Geko G540, spindle tacho, run up Mach3 and tuned it all up.

    I have done some basic cutting with Gcode and even made a couple of timing pulleys.

    Now I have a problem. On the weekend I bought 32kg of 6061 T6 in thrree large bits - thats 70 lbs for my American friends. I have no idea what to machine but the price was to good to pass up - $1 / lb...

    If worst comes to worst I could cut it up, but I thought someone might have an idea or two. The attached picture gives some idea of the scope of the "problem".
