    CL 203 CONTROL PANEL

I STARTED A NEW JOB AND THEY BOUGHT A USED MORI LATHE.NICE SHAPE, GOOD CONDITION. I'M USED TO FANUC CONTROL PANELS BUT THIS MSG 803 IS PRETTY USER FRIENDLY. I HAVE 2 QUESTIONS THAT I NEED HELP WITH THAT I KNOW I CAN GET QUICK ANSWERS MOST LIKELY. ONE IS, WHEN I START UP MACHINE THE DOOR INTERLOCK WANTS ME TO SHUT DOOR WHICH IS COMMON ON MOST MACHINES, BUT THE HANDLE UP IN THE TOP LEFT OF THE CONTROL PANEL WILL NOT STOP BLINKING RED. IS THERE A WAY TO TURN THAT FEATURE "OFF" IN THE PARAMETERS ? ON A HASS YOU CAN GO INTO GRAPH BUTTON AND SELECT NOT TO USE IT. IF I TURN THE HANDLE TO THE LEFT ON THIS MACHINE I GET AN ALARM CLAIMING I AM RUNNING IN A HARMFUL WAY AND WHEN YOU GO TO RUN A PROGRAM IT WONT LET YOU. ( PLEASE HELP) 2ND QUESTION IS I LOADED A MACRO NUMBERED O9136 WHICH IS HARDINGES DEEP DRILL CYCLE. WHEN I CALLED IT UP IN THE PROGRAM IT WOULDNT RUN.WHEN I HIT THE SOFT KEY "MACRO" THEY WERE NUMBERED ONLY FROM 101 THRU 115. DOES THIS MEAN I CAN ONLY USE MACROS NUMBERED FROM SAY O9101 THRU O9115 ? OR HOW DO I MAKE THEM ACTIVE ? THERE IS A PROGRAM IN THE LIBRARY NAMED O9113, SO I KNOW THE MACHIN IS CAPABLE OF READING MACROS. ( PLEASE HELP)

An MSG803 is indeed a mitsubishi controller, and what's happening with your
macro is that the control places macros with names from 8000 to 9999 in
    a protected area.

You need to set parameter# 8105 to 0 (zero) to be able to look at them.
Be sure to set the parameter back to 1 so you can see your other part programs.

As far as the door interlock, I don't know that there's a clean workaround
to that, because those types of features are implemented by Mori in the PLC.
