I have a drawing of a small flywheel. The flywheel has 6 spokes. I have 1 drawn out and would like to copy this feature every 60 degrees. What is the best way to do this in SolidWorks?

Hi,
you could try [circular sketch pattern] ....highlight it select 6 to pattern.
hope this helps......what ver of sollidworks.
I believe the option is called rotate and copy(not sure of the name, I do it all the time without even thinking about it) pick your center to rotate around(yellow dot) type in your degrees and the quantity. Once you figure it out you will use it alot!!
- Tools - Sketch tools - circular pattern
Is the proper way to do this at the sketch level.
This is not the best way to do this though.
It is simpler and uses less computing power to do Insert- pattern/mirror - circular pattern and pattern the spoke feature around the center axis.

i know it's been a while since you posted but for anyone else reading this.
this is covered quit well in 2007 tutorials
Once you create the spoke body and have all the details worked out you can make a circular pattern of the spoke"body". Create an axis at the center of the spoke which you will use as the center of rotation and choose select bodies and select the spoke. define number of instances (6). Set equal spacing and that should do it.
