I've got the X7 servo model and use bobcad-cam. Warning.....there needs to be a section of code that needs to be edited for running the drill cycles in Bobcad-cam that don't work in adtech. It will plunge the drill into the table every time :-)

I have had an X4 Plus for about 5 years and also use BobCadCam which has worked well for me. Definitely get the 4th axis option for your mill and buy a copy of D2NC for the 4th axis wrapping. Bobcad has added 4th axis to their software but I have not used it yet so can't say how well it works.

Note: I haven't experienced any plunging as mentioned in the previous post.

Here is a 3d part that I machined using only bobcad.

I haven't had any g-code issues. Yes, I have had a lot of fun with the mill as well as some challenges. All in All, for the cost and size I'm very happy with the X4+.

We have Syil, controlled by MACH controller, CAD by Solidworks and CAM using BobCAM integrated into Solidworks (not a very pleasant experience though).

Generally, the Syil is a good machine for the money in my opinion.
