so I'm running a mori seiki MV-45/40 it will do some of the tool changes, its one arm that keeps jamming the tool, almost completes tool change but when it is going back to the carousel it cocks up, What I think it may be is the key way is wore.
or the end that grabs the tool has spread so its alittle sloppy,
It starts up the pod straight then an inch away cocks.
on the job running now I have 4 tool changes and it only does it on the 1 side, last tool, change. So it isn't making much sense to me,
I'm one step away from taking the swing arm off machine clean and take apart to see if can figure it out.
Any advice would be great

Bent or worn out claw, or arm out of rotation. Probably the claw. When the arm is down, the lock pin keeps it in. Once the arm come up, the lock pin releases. When it does, you holder is shifting. Both sides-usually arm out of rotation. One side only-usually claw.

Thanks, underthetire, I check the arm to see if it was worn, looked alright there, but there is a little bend, so thanks for the advice, I was thinking that it may not be just one thing but a couple things out of wack.
