I have a kitamura mycenter 1 milling ctr. that is having a problem with down loading and uploading programs. We had an electrical storm that seemed to influence many of the machines although the others are now working o.k. We presently have the control settings for - 2400 baud rate-
- even (parity)- -(7) data bits- -(2) stop bits- (xon) hand shaking- . Any info. would be greatly appreciated. We are able to get it to work at times yet it is not convenient when the order is due the same day.

Did the machine have any downloading problems before the electrical storm or do you get any alarms? Is it a 3M controller? My Kitamura MyCenter 1 had a simular problem, I would try to up load a program and get an alarm 86. I have talked to Fanuc, and there suggestion was a damaged chip on the main board. I am an the process of getting a new master PC board this week (it was cheaper to replace then send the board out to have it fixed).
