    Cycle times

I did a real world test. I have a program in Preditor Editor and backplotted it and got a cycle time of 04:41:05 which I'm assuming is 4 min 41.05 sec. Then I loaded the program into a machine and got a cycle time of 3 min 22 sec. Why arn't these much closer to eachother?

I think the reverse post processor being used for Predator has to be edited to fit the settings that are being used (I could be wrong), though I also dont know enough about it to tell you what-where to change anything.

There is a script made By a user in the BobCad forum that will produce more accurate cycle times without trying to figure out how to do the Predtor RP.

Is this a lathe program or mill?

I don't think Predator tries to get as accurate as .05 seconds, that looks more like 4H 41M 5S. I think I recall someone mentioning that some Lathe programs will backplot a feed of F0.006 (0.006 inches per revolution) as 0.006 inches per MINUTE!

Burr's right, there are settings to be tweaked if you want to crack open the .MCH and .RP* files. It's very easy, just like editing your post processor. Good idea to back it up in case you make a mistake of course.
