Hi All

First off, great forum and learning heaps. Thanks in advance for your help.

We've got a 36EXT Epilog laser (600mm x 900mm bed) and need to replace the honeycomb beds. Pricing from the reseller here in Western Australia is exorbitant to say the least - $935.00.

Does anyone know of an accessory supplier in the market that can make these to spec etc??

Gavin, I don't know a supplier in Oz but try your local specialized metal supplier. It's a standard product they should be able to order for you.

I got mine for slightly less than $30 USD (300mm x 300mm) so you should be able to find it for under $200 to fit your bed.

Another option is aluminium 'eggcrate' grille - as used for HVAC industry.
the suppliers can make it up to size with the appropriate edging angles etc.

with either material you could go wild and get it black anodised at a metal finishing shop .

theory is that it reduces beam reflections though to be honest i dont know how much benefit 'actually' derives from the anodising. - it certainly looks pretty good!
