Thanks for your time and I hope I have posted to the correct forum. I am making some metal fixtures for my work and need to coat the whole fixture with a shock absorbing rubber/plastic. Having never coated anything before or been around injection molding, what is the best method?

My fixtures will weigh about 40-50# and resemble rubber encased bumper plates used by weight lifters. I would like to have the fixture # and what machine # to be used on be part of the rubber coating (not painted but cast/injected with the rest of the rubber).

Any info, advice, or pointers is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
