I have the Xbox 360 controller working just fine. Thanks to all who labored on this plugin.
I am having a problem however, configuring a very simple custom macro.
I'm following the procedure at the very end of the Setup Guide.
I have written the following macro, saving it with the name "M798.m1s"
I was mindful that I put a carriage return at the end of the file.
I have saved it in the C:\Mach3\macros\Zen_Router directory.
"Zen_Router" is the directory corresponding to my XML profile.
The actual name of my XML file is "Zen_Router.xml".
I have assigned 'Custom Macro#1' to "798" (without quotes).
I have assigned 'Back Btn' to "Custom Macro #1"
Then I 'OK' out of the Xbox Plugin screen.
Then I 'OK' out of the 'Plugin Control and Activation' screen.
Then I exit Mach 3
Then I restart Mach 3 using my Zen_Router profile.
Then comes the problem...
When I press the 'Back Button' I get an error message which says:
"Scripter Compile Error. In:M798.mis"
I have used Google to search the whole web for such a message string and have found nothing.
Ditto CNCZone.
Ditto Mach 3 Forums.
I even made a copy of the file and save it to the same macro folder under the name "M798.mis" right along with filename "M798.m1s".
I did the whole restart thing and no difference.
I even Checked that maybe it should be "M798.mls" and saved that one also.
So now I have three files:
M798.m1s
M798.mis
M798.mls
...all in the same directory and I still get the same error message.
This should be a no-brainer.
