Hi!
We are having a problem with Heidenhain TNC 530 installed in a milling machine, sometimes, when we started the machine, at the screen appears the following message

USER NAME:

before starting operating system.
If we turn off the CNC and after turn on it, sometimes, the operating system starts, PLC compiles, etc; then we are able to work for a bit, but shortly after the following message appears:

Fatal error child process termínate
Process: soky
Exit code: 3
Detailed error Information has been stored to SYS:\soky.err
Press END to reboot


We are suspecting hard disk is damaged, but we are not sure. What you recommend us?

Hi I know it's been a long while but what did you have to do to resolve this pr Home? I now have it !!

First of all, if you can, take a backup with a TNCremo.
Then the harddisk needs to be changed.
