    Angry Turret alignment procedure

    I have a Hitachi Seiki cs 25 lathe and the turret got bumped. It is obout a 1/4 out of alignment does anyone know how to re-align it?

    not fimilar with hitachi but if its off 1/4 your probably going to need to remove
    it, should be 6 bolts in turret face, if there's more some of them might be alignment holes to drive a tapered pin in to align it.
    you might want to check inclination and squreness also.

    Thanks for the reply I got it within .050" and it wouldn't go any further but I am up and running for now I will have to take the turrret off when I am not so busy,
