Hello, New member here but longish time lurker.

I'm about to purchase a Boxford ACL lathe, on which everything works including the original ANC Controller.

I was wondering a few things however, Firstly how robust is the original controller? and is there any info/manuals out there on the net about them? i've been searching for hours but to no avail, i have a manual being sent to me but wanted to get a head start.

Also how easy to use is the original controller?

I'm also considering retrofitting it with a pc based control along the lines of mach3, what would be required to do this?

Finally, what are the general thoughts and opinions on these machines as there seems to be little information out there in regards to the acl.
