Good Morning to All of You,
We have got a Oerlikon (Germany Make) Blade Grinding Machine Model B27 with CNC system of Fanuc 160i controller & Micorsoft Windows 2000 Professional Operating system with Pentium 3 processor.
Kindly go through all the point mentioned below and advice
Yesterday we had power faulire and after that when we switched ON the machine, booting stops with blue dump screen with following message/error appearing on CNC Monitor (LCD)
***STOP:0X0000001E (0xc0000005, 0xbfff6bb3, 0x000000001, 0x0000000C)
KMODE - EXCEPTION - NOT ALLOWED

If this is the first time u have seen this STOP error screen, restart computer. If error repeats, follow following procedure. Check to be sure U have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in a Stop message, disable the driver or check with Manufacture for Driver Update. Try changing Video adapters. Check with ur Hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as Caching or Shadowing. If u need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer. Press F8 to Select Advanced Startup options, & then select safe Mode, Refer your getting started manual for more information on troubleshooting STOP errors
Tried following
a) Switched OFF the machine, disconnected power and data cbales from Floppy & CD driver, taken out ethernet cable, CNK1 and CNK2 cables from Fanuc MDI unit & switched ON, still same message
b) Pressed F8 and tried to selct boot with Last Good confguration, still same problem
c) To run Checkdisk (that means to run command CHKDSK/F), selected option of Coomand prompt, still same message
d) Selected Safe Mode then booting stops with message INACCESIBLE BOOT DEVICE, Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your Hard drive to make sure it is properly configured & terminated. Run CHKDSK/F to check your hard drive corruption.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE USED TO HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEM WHENEVER MACHINE WAS OUT OFF AND ON BUT AFTER KEEPING THE MACHINE OFF FOR FEW HOURS, IT USED TO BECOME ALRIGHT AND BOOTING USED TO GET OVER WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS but this is not the case this time
e) There is SDRAM of 512MB on Fanuc System PCB, switched off the machine and taken out SDRAM, did not find much dirt in it, still cleaned with cotton soaked in ethyl alcohal & fitted back correctly in the slot, but after that when we switch ON the machine, we just get a bright white screen & after that screen changes over to black dark screen & nothing appears further on the screen, in normal condition, after bright white screen , screen changes over to black dark screen & RAM test etc takes place & hard disk, CDROM Mouse etc are detected
Kindly advice if you suspect problem to be due to SDRAM due to which screen is not appearing and secondly whether faulty SDRAM can cause blue dump sreen with STOP message at the time of booting??????????
Kindly reply sir as Machine is under Breakdown
