    highfeed toolpath problem

    Hi,

I am playing around a little to find out if I can use highfeed.
So far I am encountering the same problem again and again.

When I use highfeed on a simple contour the last part of the toolpath is missing.
When the contour has several cut depths, all contours are fine exept the last one at final depth. Here the last part of the toolpath is missing...

Can someone explain me why this is happening?

I am using X4 MU3. Its not mine, I have access to it.
It is still in default machine configuration.

    Thanks for helping!

    ehhh.. I will try...

In this case the part just before lead-out is missing.

When I use default highfeed-parameters the duration is shortened by -1100%,

from a few minutes to more than an hour...!

I guess this has something to do with using default parameters.

Main problem is the missing toolpath-part...

When I regenerate the toolpath it looks okay, before it looked very strange just like you explained. I think this has to do with the control definition of your default machine, have you tried another machine?

My main suspicion is going that way also. That's why I mentioned X4 is still in it's default config. I am not allowd to make any changes in the control definition for now because the software is not mine.

Are you/Is anybody aware of settings in the control or machine definition that that have an effect on the way highfeed is functioning?
I can think of settings that result in low feedrates etc, but not missing toolpath parts...

    Thanks for trying!
