Hi All,

Has anyone tried the Predator over rides for feed rates?

For instance, If I post out of V23 with feed rates that are F100. , then load the posted program into Predator editor. If I turn up the feed rate over ride and apply to a section of the program, all Feed rates over 19.99 loose the decimal. If I take F100. to 200%, I get F200 (no decimal). Then I have to go back and use find and replace to correct all feed rates over 19.99 IPM.

Is there a newer Bobcad Predator? I still use the one that was bundled with V22.

Does it not run on your machine without a decimal? MACH3 does not care.

Have you tried editing your template files feedrate properties?

Good afternoon McPhil. Yes, the fanucs want the decimal place. If not there they assume you forgot and move it over for you 4 places. ie., F100 becomes F.0100.

And Burrman, Thanks. I ticked off in the template to keep trailing zeros. Now I keep the decimal place on any feed rates over 2 digits.

This didn't occur to me since the initial feed rate might be F5. But after adjusting to 200% it became F10 (no decimal). Now it work correctly.
