    5 axis help!

    hey ppl,

im having problems trying to post 4 and 5 axis, im using mastercam x. I have a full 5 axis post for a dmu 50 evo. The post was done for mc9 and im trying to get it to work for mc x. Im trying a simple program eg drill at x0, y0. Then move to B+90 drill and then b+90 C+180 and drill. Im unsure where im going wrong, it looks ok on mastercam but then when i post it fails to output B or C moves. it just states them as 0 in the nc file. for example if the correct code should be B+90, x0 y0 then the cycle it just states B+0, x0 y0 then the cycle. would it have anything to do with the machine def in mcx?

It is my understanding that if you had a custom post made for version 9 that it will not work in version X.

well im not sure, it works ok in 9 but when i used the update post feature it doesn't seem to have worked. But in the .txt file that is produced when you update a post it stated that some features were not found so were set to 0. but when it comes to posts i dont have a clue.
