    manual lathe convert cnc/manual lathe


    I'm looking into buying a speeway model 03911 lathe, and I want to know what am I missing to convert it, and the approximate cost of the full conversion, parts list or complete kits are all viable options.

    hey , anyone with some info abt it "converting lathe to cnc"-- parts required and average investment... ?? any kinda help wud be great ... as i m a beginner here....

    as to your question "how much to cnc a lathe" I'd say min $500 not including the machine and depending on what you have and can scrounge

    Several places sell a CNC retrofit kit consisting of 2 or 3 motors, controls, and software.
