Hi Guys,

Have a new error to play with today.

DATC came in to make a tool change but the tool had stuck in the taper. This stopped the arm and errored out.

Machine: FADAL 3016 - Fanuc 0i

I have following alarms:

2077
2063
2044

The last alarm (2044) is the one that's bothering me as it says: Tool arm overload trip maintenance must reset overload

Any tips how I do this?

When these things trip they pop out..... all you have to do is make sure power is off go into your electrical cabinet and look for the reset buttons. Just push it back in and you are good to go.

Look at how the arm is centered to the spindle.
I have a 4020 with a DATC and the arm was off .015 to the spindle.
The factory did not align the arm correctly.
This can be a on going problem if you don't correct it.
