Question How it is ensured ?

    Hi

Attached you can find a Linear Motion bearing. You can see the fixture (in pink) which is supposed to be clamped on the platform.

I had the doubt that -

HOW IT IS ENSURED that the clamped fixture will be exact dot parallel to the Sliding (Linear Motion)?

=>As far i can see threadings provided (on platform) to clamp fixture by bolts.
Clamping by bolts cannot ensure exact parallelity to the linear motion.

=>If dowel pins are there, they cannot ensure dot accuracy because dowel pins are manufactured in 20microns + the clearence provided (so the dowel can easily fit into counteropening on the platform)

Than how the fixture is clamped in dot exact accuracy & parallel to the linear motion?

    Thanks
    Zirok

What is this, 4th or 5th thread on the same subject? All your previous trollings on the matter have been merged here: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106593.
