I have a fadal vmc 15xt and has been working great and went to switch to another program and it was missing, shut unit down when restarted, shows corrupt memory, and while in mdi the screen just starts populating numbers mostly 1's and 2's and wont allow you to get to any of tooling, fixture or any other operations, can get to jog but when going back to mdi numbers start over again. I cleared memory and reinstalled all parameters, when I go back to mdi the problem starts over again. HELP?

Since you appear to have done the ZERO MEMORY procedure,The issue may be either the expanded memory board is bad or the CPU is faulty.

I have already removed the expanded memory and cleared the memor again and it still happens, so I am guessing that it is a cpu.

Is the rs232 cable connected to the machine?

in the cpu card there is a reset try to push that when
it heppened
if it fix the problem then your problem in 1030 card
