SuperMax Turning Center w/ Fanuc O-T, Won't thread

We have a Super Max turning center here, model YCM-TC-15 with a Fanuc O-T control. We can't get the machine to thread, all parameters are on and we have tried the G76 code and I think a G32.

Any suggestions? I am not the programmer but I will pass the info to him in the shop.

    Thanks!

What happens when you try to thread? Can you post your program here? Maybe we can help.

    Is the spindle encoder OK?
Will it do CSF as a test?
Some encoders are driven with a small timing belt that might need replacing.

does it just sit there? if so it might be spindle speed arrival signal, or the position coder is bad..

try turning on the dry run switch.. if it works it will prove my theory
