    G540 .xml / Mach3 / gcode error issue

    Aloha All,

I'm getting close with my X2 hoss conversion. I have the G540 and Mach3. I am generating gcode with vectric cut2d. I have made a simple circular pocket in a rectangular piece of stock. When I load the gcode with the 540B
.xml I get the error message "Radius to end of arc differs from radius to startline ###". Also, if get no graphic toolpath in the toolpath display.

When I load the mach3mill profile and load this gcode, it loads fine and there is a toolpath graphic. The only variable that I can isolate between what works and what doesen't is which .xml profile I load with the mach3loader at mach3 startup.

I was hoping that this is an error message that someone has seen before and there might be a simple fix or tweak. Any thoughts?
Is there a different place that I might post this question?
I can attach or email the gcode .txt if anyone is interested.

    Thanks! -4ist

Very common, go Config Menu/General Config and then change your IJ Mode to the opposite selection. If it is in Incremental change it to Absolute, or vise verse.

It all depends on how your CAM software puts out radius commands.

    That's it!!!

    Thanks Scott!
That did it. I guess I should learn to compare ALL the differences between settings when I have isolated the problem. Scratch one stupid question...
