    Smile XJ12-300 Mill

    Hi all,
I just bought a XJ12-300 mill and as most mill it come with a drill shuck...
Is it OK to use that type of shuck to mill ? Or do you have to buy a collet holder + collet set?

    Also,
Anybody ever converted one of these to CNC before?

    Thank you,
    RNR

If you value what you are milling.... buy the collets.

Don't mill with a chuck, its not designed for it and just seeing someone do it makes me cringe.
