Hi. I have aquired a dahlgren system 300 engraver/router. Does anyone no how to set it up using a cncmax controller, I don't have any software as yet can anyone recomend, I am use to running engravelab , signlab and sign pro.

Did you ever get any information or manual for that machine? Does anyone have any information about the spindle motor wiring? .
I have a neighbor that picked up one of these machines but there is no documentation with it.
It has a 9 pin circular connector with all nine pins wired. There is no marking on the motor.

I replaced the Dahlgren 300 with my 4 axis control box. I also replaced the Dahlgren spindle motor with a 400W speed controller. My customer reports the new system is running great. He gave me the old control box and spindle motor. I am pretty sure that the spindle motor and driver is OK because the spindle control board looks fine. I think one of the power supplies is bad.

can you be more specifics what 4 xis control box and speed controller u used for system 300,an what is the uprade costs?
I looked at solustan upgrade but $2300 is no an option for me when wan to use it only for hobby.
